WRITERS TOUR-CONFERENCE BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA.
Introduction:
In conjunction with writers and authors in Argentina, our organization is preparing the first
CDPA North-South Writers Tour-Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The CDPA conference is an organized --though less
than formal-- gathering and tour of writers from North and South America. In addition to the formal conference proceedings,
there will also be numerous visits to city literary cafes, homes of writers, tango workshops and night clubs, and other cultural
attractions of the city and its surrounding areas.
WRITERS TOURS TO ARGENTINA (and other Latin American Capitals)
We
organize a writers tour that combines site seeing trips, meetings with fellow writers, receptions, lectures, shopping and
a wide range of cultural and entertaining activities in this most cultured and fun of all Latin American cities. Buenos Aires
is dubbed the Paris of Latin America and is the birth place and capital of Tango. The tour will certainly include the sensual
Tango, the legendary gaucho BBQs, 5 star shopping at 2 1/2 star prices and an overall cultural and educational experience
at the highest level. For more information please write to hune@culture-and-ecology.com. 914-439-7731

publishing opportunities in 4 different languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and French) 3. to explore common literary
interests and creative projects 4. to participate in various trade workshops. 5. to participate in various creative

Structure of the conference:
• Plenary sessions by noted local and guest
writers • Concurrent seminar sessions by themes • Concurrent workshops on various creative and industry topics •
Poster presentations • Publishers booths • Individual and group presentations, readings and exhibits • Face-to-face
dialogues and encounters. • Tours and visits to cultural sites, concerts, music restaurants, dance, music, museums, arts
and craft shows.
In addition to the activities already programmed, we will offer the opportunity to customize city
tours for conference participants. For instance: shopping in Buenos Aires is relatively inexpensive with a very favorable
exchange rate. There are first rate shopping districts in selected Buenos Aires neighborhoods. There are many night-clubs
and shows-restaurants to visit. Argentine Asado (gaucho style barbeques) are offered throughout the city. There is also great
professional soccer. Talk to us about your special interests.
